So while I was in Montreal, CA, I saw that there was a Dermalogica shop there. I booked the $10 face mapping treatment they offer. Now, I know a lot about skin care because I deal with acne myself but I wanted to get my face analysed to see if my supenises were right. I believed that my skin was dehydrated but it could be hard to tell between dry skin or dehydrated skin.

I was the first person of the day to get a facial so the store was empty, besides 2 other workers & myself. What to expect while getting this type of facial? Well firstly, I had to fell out some paperwork. Like my email, what are my skin goals, am I on any meds. Things like that. Then, she did was touch & look at my skin to see my problem areas. And I was right. My skin was dehydrated with oncoming acne breakouts & current breakouts. Next, we talked & she applied the skin care products onto my face (look down below to see what she recommend). She was very gentle with my skin & informed me a lot on how to take better care of it.

Moisture is key!!! No matter what your skin type is. Near the end, she asked me if I wanted to buy any of the products. Now if anyone knows about Dermalogica, you know that the products are expensive. So she gave me some free little samples. I don’t think I’ll buy the products. I liked them a lot but I’m not trying to break the bank buying them. I have been trying listen to the tips that the woman who did my facial gave me. While looking online for products that offered my conditions, I found myself interested in K-Beauty or Korean skin care.

So, end ot the story is I liked the facial a lot. The fact that it was only $10 made me like it even more. She also said that I should look into getting facials once a month cause they do help with healing the skin. I have gotten one at Ulta so I’ll look more into those.
